1) The Ports - are they good or great?
2) The Shore Excursions - the better ones sell out fast so consider booking them before you are on the ship. Shore excursions can be found online for NCL, Royal Caribbean, Carnival Cruise, Celebrity and many other major cruise lines.
3) Balcony Cruise suite - if you have very young children you may be better off with an Ocean view cabin for safety.
4) Motion sickness - this is really based on you as a person but the seas may have something to do with it. For example, if you are cruising the open seas, say to Bermuda, this cruise may have rougher seas than say a Baltic or Alaska cruise will
5) Currency - Don't think you will need to convert money. The dollar is most welcome anywhere in the most all North American ports.
